Archos 5 review – Part 3: Browsing

December 27th, 2009

Showing the speed and compatibility of the Opera browser in this Archos 5 product that is being released right now. It has a 4 times faster ARM Cortex processor by Texas Instruments, which significantly increases the browsing experience making this a full Internet Media Tablet experience. In this video review I am showing and testing many different graphics heavy websites. The intro music is by maf464.free.fr and it is used with permission. You can watch this video in DivX HD 720p at http…

You have to wait to see what developers do on the Android Archos 5 version in the coming weeks and months. I think that some advanced 3D games are possible but not yet.

Here you are commenting on last years Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet model though.

I’m in the market for a washing machine. Would having an Archos 5 be more important than having clean clothing?

Mine tends to freeze a lot when you have 3 or more tabs open, especially on flash-intensive sites.

Indeed, you’re right. :) Got the 4 hour playtime from the specs at mp3shop(.nl). I hope they are wrong, 7 hours would be very nice. ^^
