When you share a computer with another person it is hard to have any privacy but if you learn how to delete Internet history on your fire fox browser you can have your privacy back. People deserve their privacy even if they are not keeping secrets. It is up to you who knows your business.

On fire fox you can delete the history by opening your tool menu that is found in the top right corner of the browser. Find the option that says clear recent history and click that. There will be another menu that comes up asking just how far you wont to go back to delete history.

You will have the option to pick last hour, last two or four hours or everything. You will need to choose what type of history you want deleted. You will have to choose from active log ins, form search history, cookies, site preferences, and cache. Another great way to delete history is to go to your tool menu and then pick options and privacy.

There will be a menu that drops down and you have to pick either use customer settings, never remember history or remember history. You can delete the address bar history too. If you are typing an address into the address bar that you have used before the computer will suggestions that match the letters you are typing in, this makes it much easier to find addresses.

Some people may not want some addresses to be suggested anymore. To delete an address you just start typing it in and when the computer suggests that address to you then you click on it and delete it.

This will erase the history completely but if you feel the need to double check you can do that by simply typing in the beginning of the address to see if it comes up.
