There are two types of Internet users out there. Those that despise anything that has to do with clip art, animated gifs or funny PowerPoint presentations and the ones who love them and cannot get enough. If you are of the latter kind you might also like the royalty free clip art gallery which comes in the two packages animals and holidays for Windows and Linux.

The clip art was taken directly from the online clip art search engine wpclipart which contains dozens of categories including the downloadable holiday and animals category. The two clip art galleries that come as packages can be downloaded to the computer. They have a size of 50 and 170 Megabytes. The download page provides additional downloads, one of them the full clip art collection which totals more than 650 Megabytes and the clip art viewer.

The collections come with a clip art viewer that can be used to browse through the clip arts. This is not necessary though because the clip art is also viewable in the default photo viewer.

Here is a quick tip send in by Alex who is a regular reader and commenter here at Ghacks. If you want to watch CNN live and all other methods and applications do not seem to work right now you might want to try the following easy method providing that you have access to a computer with Windows Media Player installed.

Might be just what you need to watch the current US elections live but it is of course working all the time not only during the elections.

To start open Windows Media Player. Press the keyboard combination [CTRL U] to open a small window where an url of a media stream can be entered. Paste the following url in the form exactly as it is shown below:

Ustream is a live interactive video broadcast platform that enables virtually anyone with a camera and an Internet connection to create their own video and broadcast it to a global audience. Ustream is both quick and easy to setup and use. The site claims that creating a channel takes as little as two minutes.

Now You Can Buy Music On YouTube

Till now, YouTube was a place only for watching videos. Still, with other sites getting their act together, it was only a matter of time before these guys pulled up their socks and took a look at the services they offer.

What am I referring to? Well, the next time you’re watching a video and decide you like the song that’s playing in the background, you may just be able to purchase the song for your own music collection. YouTube has begun providing Amazon and iTunes links for videos.

These 鈥榗lick-to-buy’ links are YouTube’s way of making it easy for users to purchase something they like. And it’s not limited only to music. In the case of video game related videos like trailers, a link to buy the game will be available.

Play Web Games Offline With FlashOffliner

FlashOffliner is a starter and central management application for flash games that have been downloaded to the computer. The software program ships with a few example flash games that can be used to check the program’s functionality but it requires that the user knows how to download flash games from various web games portals.

While that is not that difficulty it could be a problem for inexperienced users. Flash games can usually be found in the browser’s Internet cache. There are also many programs and browser plugins that can download them right away.

Once the flash games are stored on the computer system’s hard drive they can be added to FlashOffliner. A click on Create New FlashOffliner Package opens a windows that might confuse some users at the beginning.

It can be hard at times to follow musicians if you are a fan of them: Where are they right now, when is their next live concert, when does their next CD come out, will they come to my town? Most people get their music business news from music magazines, band websites and music portals but it is still difficulty to find the information that you are craving for.

Enter Cloud Speakers, a music business news aggregation site that offers more than a slightly unusual layout and choice of color. Cloud Speakers displays music business news on their pages. It has a vast database of artists and labels which can be followed on page, by email or RSS news feed.

They collect news, reviews, audio and video and make it available on their website. The user can filter the four main categories, if he is only interested in reviews he can only display those. The audio category is a very appealing category on the website. Users can play the music that is listed in that category.
